Shepherd's Care serves the Hickory Nut Gorge (Western North Carolina), a four county area - parts of Rutherford, Polk, Henderson, and Buncombe Counties by assisting families/individuals with food, shelter, housing, medical, health, scholarships, and short term emergencies.

Hickory Nut Gorge Community Church Outreach, Inc. (Shepherd's Care) operates a Thrift Store and a Food Pantry at 154 Jean Luc Lane, Highway 64/74 A, Bat Cave, NC. We are a Christ-centered ministry serving those in need who live in our community.
Shepherd's Care Thrift Store...
Thrift Store operates by the donations given to us by our community...we then resell your donated items.
Here are some other ways you can help us with our mission and ministry.
(1) Drop off any furniture, household items, clothing, etc. during our working hours which are Wednesdays-Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am - 1 pm.
(2) Call us at 828-625-4683 and we will pick up items from your home.
(3) Send financial donations to us at Shepherd's Care, PO Box 634, Lake Lure NC 28746.
